"This is a long day. Start with Skógafoss and walk up to see all waterfalls on Fimmvörðuháls trail. It takes about 2-3 hours round trip and is mostly easy after walking up Skógafoss. Then drive towards Vík, and check out the famous plane wreck Justin Bieber went to. It's about 45 min each way of walking. Then at Vík check out the black sand beach and end the day in Þakgil. Recommend driving to Þakgil on an SUV since the road is a bit tough on smaller cars."
